Important Installation Information

These levers are designed as a direct replacement for the factory brake levers. Proper alignment during installation is important to ensure correct brake operation.

Important Warning
If the lever is installed in a way that applies pressure to the master cylinder piston, hydraulic pressure can build within the brake system, causing the brake to drag or remain engaged. Always ensure the lever is fully aligned before tightening the pivot bolt.

Possible Post-Installation Symptoms

• Brake feels tight or stuck

• Wheel does not spin freely

• Brake engages without pulling the lever

This is typically caused by hydraulic system pressure and is not a product defect.

Quick Fixes

1. Slightly loosen and re-tighten the brake caliper bleed valve to release excess pressure.

2. Carefully separate the brake pads using a flathead screwdriver, then pump the brake lever several times.

3. Repeatedly squeeze and release the brake lever to allow the system to settle.
